How to apply for Learners/Driving License Online India?

1. Go to Karnataka RTO website http://rto.kar.nic.in/  (Use only  FireFox or Chrome)

2. Click on Online Applications Link.

3. TRANSPORT ONLINE SERVICES page will be opened. 

4. Click on Online browser setting help for LL and DL. 

5. Online browser setting help for LL and DL will be opened

• Click here for local settings. Read the instructions given on this page and do Browser setting.

       

• Click on  Help for online LL and DL application . Read the steps given on this page and fallow the same steps.

 6. Comeback to  TRANSPORT ONLINE SERVICES page.

• Click on  New Learning License Online Application for  New Learner’s License . 

• New Driving License Online Application for Driving License .

7. Fill the LL (Learning License)or DL (Driving License) application form.

8. After filling application click on Submit Button.

8. You will get below Message :

 9. Note down the  Application Number and  click on  Print.

10. If you get error message: Problem in processing the request. Please try again later... . than go back to your application form click on Print again.

11. Application Print page. You will get  Error message:- Invalid Month in the Date Value.Please Enter Month as Numbers Only in the Date. 

12. Now change date format----> DD/MM/YYYY i.e. 23/11/1991

13. Now Click on PRINT APPLICATION FORM button.

14. Take Printout of Online filled application form and submit to RTO.


Note: 

• You must fill and submit  License application form in web browser.

• Fill all the details in the form except List of Enclosures (for Age Proof, Address Proof etc.,) for LL. [ If you fill this columns in Part-c than you will get an error:- The issuing authority code for Learner Licence/Driving Licence in Part-C List Of Enclosures is not correct ]
